Un bot pourrait faire ça is the (primarily French-language) YouTube channel ofartist Akaash Collet. Through the lens of his own work, which channels land art practitioners like Richard Long into the 21st century digital spaces, he has made it his mission to search out and create videos about a whole host of experimental, conceptual, and avant-guard art projects that utilized videogames. Mixing together a wide array of features on specific artist projects and art games, as well as an admixture of uncategorizable reworking of let’s-play style performances and video essays, he enacts a strong critical through-line and serves as a window into areas of art display and performance in digital and game spaces. Sometimes the English subtitles on the videos can be a bit disjointed, but Collet’s work is an incredibly valuable service and perhaps more importantly a useful model for young artists to expand upon as the video dialog between video games and art grows more mature.
